I help organizations make their AI reliable, and get their people to use it.

I am a knowledge governance, information architecture, and AI enablement consultant based in Vancouver. For 15 years I have worked at the point where information, process, and technology meet, helping organizations make sense of what they know and put it to use. AI has made that work urgent. A tool is only as good as the content it reads and the people who use it, and that is precisely where I work.

Where this comes from.

For four years I rebuilt the IT knowledge management function at KPMG US, a 2,500-person IT organization serving 35,000 employees. I owned the ServiceNow knowledge module and the Confluence platform, managed a knowledge base of 3,000+ articles, led a team of five, and set the content standards that held the whole thing together through four years of continuous organizational change. That is where I learned how knowledge behaves at scale, and what it takes to keep it reliable when everything around it keeps moving.

My doctoral research was in knowledge management, focused on how knowledge moves between organizations in nonprofit networks. It gave me the grounding to treat this as a discipline with its own principles, not a matter of tidying documents.

Built for people and AI.

More recently I have designed knowledge foundations built to serve people and AI at once. In an engagement with a Canadian nonprofit, every part of the system, from its structure to its naming, was designed to be read by both the people navigating it and the AI querying it. The client described the work as the most business-grounded and implementation-ready engagement the organization had received.

I use AI tools daily in my own work, which keeps my recommendations grounded in how they actually behave rather than in how they are marketed.

Method

How I work.

01
Evidence first

Every engagement starts with a structured discovery with the people involved, to frame the real problem beneath the symptom. I start from evidence, not assumptions.

02
Route to the right fix

The problem gets routed to where it actually lives — across people, process, and technology — rather than to a predetermined solution.

03
Built to outlast me

I build things that keep working after I leave, because a system that depends on me is not a system.

A wider view

Six countries. Four languages.

I have lived and worked across Russia, Germany, the UAE, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Canada, and I work in English, Russian, Spanish, and German. That range shapes how I work with distributed teams and across the different ways organizations think.
